The Birth

For me, The Birth is the bridgework in my Gumball Dream series. It’s both a transition and a beginning. The choice of cotton candy as the material symbolizing new life, and through its fragile and ephemeral nature, I sought to explore birth and life in a pure and sweet manner. The conditions for life's emergence are infinitely varied and exceedingly rare, yet ultimately only one life is born, expressing the preciousness of birth. The candy heart used in the animation resembles the core of life among all things, and only this moment, this form, can nurture life. To me, this is the most beautiful existence.
