During the Christmas season, let me share a story about the Little Snowman that you may never have heard before.

To begin with, what does Christmas mean to you? In my hometown, Christmas was the best morning of the year for me when I was little, the day I woke up with the excitement of opening the presents. However, with the passing of the years, the Christmas presents I had anticipated since I grew up gradually vanished, and almost forgotten the excitement I had the night before going to bed on Christmas Eve.

Since I came to Chicago, the hometown of the movie Home Alone, I started to regain the happiness people link with Christmas. Christmas is different for adults compared to the small Christmas presents children wait to receive from Santa Claus. Christmas is a time with memories, a time with crystal lights. It is a time when people are with their family and friends, sharing the stories of their lives with each other and caring about one another. It is not only a time to look forward to the coming year, but also a time to look back on the last year and the time spent with the people around us.

And the little snowman is like that Santa who brings that snow globe.
